Role in a Nutshell

Equals have ambitions to harness a more integrated use of our Cloud applications suite and reducing manual work through automation, the IT App Engineer is critical in making this happen.

 

To be considered for this opportunity you must must be passionate about cloud applications,  infrastructure and driving on-going improvements in an ever changing changing marketplace.

 

You’ll be part of a driven, highly-engaged Digital Services team who are always looking for new ways to push things forward and deliver, making continuous impactful improvements across the company. A team that stays close to the business and its requirements, always taking feedback as an opportunity to innovate while at the same offering valuable IT advice.

 

Once here you will be

  • Exploring market on the best apps & software to meet business requirements

  • Managing, curating and optimising usage of the current application stack

  • Driving the automation landscape  - reducing manual work and improving security through app integration

  • Looking for continuous improvement of apps, evaluating what we have and how they work together

  • Ensuring that current applications deliver value and we are making the full use of all benefits & features.

  • Build out our infrastructure as code

  • Provide Level 3 application support and manage change requests 

About you

  • You will have gained 1 or 2 years experience in an IT Related, software development or operations role

  • Have some programming skills, for example experience in Python,Go,Node.JS or Java

  • Have use APIs to integrate cloud applications 

  • Have a background in implementing Cloud applications
